TV Personality, Brand Collaborator and Event Host, Lorinska Merrington is currently starring in the candid reality series ‘Yummy Mummies’ on Netflix.
In 2020 Lorinska became an official ambassador for the respected children’s nutrition brand, Biostime Nutrition. Lorinska also co-owns the leading app, ‘Bub.app’, because knowledge is power, and support is everything.
Lorinska has also co-hosted the Good Friday Appeal coverage alongside Andrew O’Keefe and has also been a guest co-host and regular contributor on 3AW with Darren James and other various radio shows around Australia.
Lorinska has been involved in event hosting for the ‘Spring Racing Carnival, ‘Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival’, The Melbourne Racing Club and Chadstone to name a few.
As an Educator and qualified Primary School Teacher, Lorinska specialises in early childhood development and integration for children with a range of special needs.
Elle Halliwell is an Australian journalist, speaker and author whose mission is to inspire others to live their best lives.
Elle has partnered with Biostime Nutrition since they launched in Australia and continues to work with them to support parents through their journey of parenthood.
Having fostered a successful career as one of the country's favourite showbiz and fashion commentators - reporting beauty, style and celebrity news in 2016 Elle’ life changed forever when she was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer and discovered she was pregnant with her first child within the space of 48 hours.
In 2017 she documented her triumph over adversity and decade-long battle with anxiety in her memoir, A Mother’s Choice. She is now the proud mum of a baby boy named Tor, and is on the road to recovery.
Elle’s health battle sparked a passion for raising awareness of rare blood cancers and she is currently working with charities including The Cancer Council and the Leukaemia Foundation as well as delivering inspiring keynote talks at schools and corporate events around the country covering topics such as overcoming adversity, managing anxiety, healthy living and the joys and complexities of motherhood.
Health and wellbeing has always been a passion of Elle’s and she is now a certified health coach and currently completing an Adv Dip of Integrative Natural Health (naturopathy) at Nature Care College. in 2019 she was an ambassador for not-for-profit industry body Australian Organic, and hopes to educate Australians on the benefits of an environmentally-friendly, low-tox lifestyle.
Elle continues to foster a love for fashion and entertainment reporting, a career which has taken her overseas to report on global news events.
Melissa Wilson is the Editor of Kidspot, Australia's number one parenting website.She has over 20 years’ experience in broadcast and digital journalism, covering parenting, lifestyle, entertainment and news.
She is an experienced voice over artist, presenter and host. Often hosting live events such as Mum Society, parenting events and film Q&As, She is co-host of The Juggling Act podcast and Executive producer of true crime podcast My Father The Murderer which has been nominated multiple times including best storytelling and true crime at the Australian podcast awards, Podcast of the year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards, and Best True crime and justice in the 2020 Webby awards.
She has been nominated for a number of other awards, including Journalist of the year and Executive of the year at the Women in Media awards held in Sydney.
She is mum to two children and is passionate about travel, sports, books and film.
Tracy is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Canberra. She is a qualified primary school teacher who is currently lecturing to undergraduate pre-service teachers in the discipline of mathematics and STEM education.
Tracy completed her PhD at the University of Canberra, with her thesis focused on sustaining mathematics educational research through secondary data analysis – utilising a sophisticated framework that analyses both quantitative and qualitative data.
Tracy’s research focuses on mathematics education and, specifically, her work aims to better understand how students’ spatial reasoning is critical for success in mathematics (particularly in digital environments) and how spatial reasoning skills can be improved through targeted teaching.
As a senior staff member of SERC, Tracy has worked on many key projects since the Centre’s inception. She has been actively involved in several ARC grants in various key support roles and is currently Partner Investigator on a project investigating children’s spatial reasoning and mathematics sense-making on assessment tasks in digital environments.
Tracy has also been closely involved in the Early Learning STEM Australia (ELSA) project as the pedagogical lead for the second children’s app, Location and Arrangement, which provides young children with opportunities to engage in spatial thinking.
